Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Service Administrator / Purchasing Manager to join our team. As an administrator, you'll spend a majority of your time keeping our work order management system up to date with information about estimates, repair work to be completed, and customer information. You will also be responsible for overseeing the sourcing of parts and tracking of shipments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administrating software systems, creating reports, submitting orders and tracking purchase orders. You must be tech savvy and able to easily manage different computer systems and learn new ones as well. This position also requires strong written english.

Responsibilities:

-Be the "owner" of our internal work order management system. You are responsible to make sure the system is up to date with current orders that customers have submitted, and you make sure the work is invoiced as soon as it's finished.

- You review the work orders we have pending and make sure we have the right parts for the job in our warehouse. When needed, source and order OEM parts from suppliers.

- Coordinate constantly with our service team members to gather information about work being performed by our mobile technicians and update work orders accordingly.

- Coordinate with technicians to ensure accurate part selection for repairs

- Take ownership over making sure the system is cleaned, updated and reviewed daily.

- Update work orders daily using the reports of work finished that our technicians produce at the end of each day.

- Be hyper-organized in the tracking of work orders, parts, and reports.

Skills:

- Must be tech savvy and able to learn and manage technology systems quickly.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.

- Must be fluent in both Spanish and English with strong written English.

- Proficiency in marine repair terminology and parts a plus but not required.
- Experience in sourcing and managing parts inventory a plus but not required.
